Organics Unlimited Won’t Stop Short During Winter Season

San Diego, CA (February 9, 2012) — It’s that time of year again where the growing regions of bananas – from Mexico down to South America – start to experience a decline in production due to the seasonal drop in temperature. Organics Unlimited, a major supplier of organic bananas, does not see this as a major threat and will continue to deliver a good supply to the U.S. from Mexico as well as Ecuador.

Organics Unlimited has been well-prepared for the seasonal temperature drop. As the winter months commence many fruits become scarce thus raising the demand for bananas. Organics Unlimited farms can keep up with the high-demand in winter. Due to the higher demand, but smaller supply, expect prices to increase for the time being. The Ecuadorian farms are delivering a steady supply, but shipments take longer to reach their destination due to the distance traveled.

“Distributors and retailers should not fear the further distance as bananas will come in on a regular basis,” states Organics Unlimited president, Mayra Velazquez de Leon. “Those who wish to order with us should count on the same quality and service.”

Organics Unlimited is a San Diego-based distributor of organic tropical fruit from Mexico and South America, providing GROW-certified bananas.  They are USDA certified for the U.S. and Canada through Organic Certifiers.  Organics Unlimited offers organic bananas through their traditional label as well as the GROW label.  For more information on Organics Unlimited and GROW, visit their website at www.organicsunlimited.com or call 619.710.0658.
