Happy Thanksgiving From Our Eco-Family to Yours!
At Organics Unlimited, we have so much to be thankful for. We are thankful for our dedicated distributors, our customers and all who help us to provide fresh, organic bananas to consumers. We are thankful that our produce provides healthy, delicious nutrition to so many children and adults. But more importantly, we are grateful for your support. Thanks to you, GROW by Organics Unlimited has been able to provide over $2 million in aid to improve the quality of life in the communities in our banana growing regions in Mexico and Ecuador. Every time a GROW organic banana is sold, funds go directly to support programs that provide clean water, milk programs for nutrition, vision and dental clinics and educational programs for children!
One young child participant, Milton Alfredo Campos Garcia said, “In the tutoring program I have learned many new things, such as how to use a dictionary to find out the meaning of the words that I didn´t know. Now I have improved my handwriting and the way I express myself. This is the part that I have enjoyed the most. I am thankful for the help given through this program.”
Other voices of gratitude come from the volunteers and people who visit these communities. Elissa Ruddy, an account representative from New Seasons who visited Colima, Mexico said this about her experience “…truly a life changing experience and an opportunity to expand one’s world view and life’s perspective. It was an amazing, rewarding and rich experience to see first-hand, the positive ripple effect of what supporting the education of one child has on the family and then to the community.”
This Thanksgiving we express our gratitude for voices such as these, and ask you to join us in giving gratitude by helping the community and the environment, not just during this holiday but year-round.

GROW partnered with Produce for Kids to provide meals for families in need and promote healthy eating options
The GROW Fund, a nonprofit program developed by Organics Unlimited, partnered with Produce for Kids to encourage families to take a pledge to pack healthier lunch items during the back-to-school season.
