Recipe: Strawberry Banana Granola Bars

You thought making your own granola bars was a lot of work? With this Strawberry Banana Granola Bars recipe, it is as easy as running to the store to buy pre-made ones. Except it’s healthier, fresher and so yummy! Your co-workers and kids’ friends will be jealous of your homemade snack bars. Don’t feel bad for craving some sweetness. It’s all natural!
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped strawberries
- 1 banana, mashed
- 2 ½ cup quick oats
- 1 tsp. melted coconut oil
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tbsp. honey
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300ºF
- Spray a 9×9 baking pan with cooking spray
- Combine the coconut oil, banana, milk and honey in a bowl
- Stir until blended
- Add the oats and mix until uniformly coated
- Gently fold in strawberries
- Press mixture into pan
- Bake for 60 minutes or until firm
- Cool before slicing
