Recipe: Banana Yogurt Bites

This fast, easy and delicious recipe makes for a perfect frozen summer treat. It is great for any spring/summer cookout and is a great way to entertain kids in the kitchen. This healthy treat provides your body with the potassium, whole grains and protein it needs. Don’t forget to have fun while making them. Try to explore a variety of yogurt flavors to mix with the banana nut crunch and discover which one tastes best.

Ingredients:

  • Bananas
  • Yogurt (pick your favorite flavor)
  • Grape Nuts

Instructions:

  1. Slice the banana in about 10-12, half-inch slices
  2. Dip them in the yogurt until fully covered
  3. Then, dip them in the grape nuts
  4. Lastly, place them in the freezer for an hour
  5. Let them sit for 1-2 minutes before serving
