Guava Banana Salad
Serves 1-2

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium sized guavas
  • 1 banana
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar/ jaggery/ honey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Chop guava into desired size blocks  (can de-seed the guava before if you wish)
  2. Add salt, sugar, a dash of lemon juice and mix well
  3. Toss in chopped bananas and mix gently
  4. Garnish with coriander or basil
  5. Eat as soon as possible or refrigerate before serving. The salad stays fresh as its seasoning (guava salad dressing) acts as a preservative.

Wandering Mist also suggests adding more ingredients if you like ranging from other fruits, pepper, chat masala, mint, jaggery, honey, nuts, etc.
