Recipe: Pumpkin Banana Smoothie
Trying to lay off on all of the chocolate this Halloween season? Celebrate the fall with this pumpkin banana smoothie and indulge in the holiday spirit without ruining your diet. This healthy smoothie contains only about 165 calories of pure deliciousness.
Pumpkin Banana Smoothie
Yields 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup very ripe medium- sized banana
- 3/4 cup fat-free vanilla yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed ice
Instructions:
- Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth, making sure the ice is completely crushed.
