Certification

Not every banana brand can claim that their produce is organic, even if they are using organic growing methods. Strong controls through the USDA and the governments of other countries dictate that farms producing edible fruits and vegetables must go through a stringent certification process on an annual basis to maintain an organic label. Organics Unlimited maintains appropriate certifications for all its banana farms in order to sell organic produce to markets in the U.S., Canada and Asia.

USDA Organic Certification

All produce from Organics Unlimited is USDA Certified Organic. We use Organic Certifiers for on-site inspections of the farms and facilities. This inspection process is required every year to maintain the organic certification of each banana farm.

JAS Certification/BioAgricert

Japanese Agricultural Standards (JAS) is the necessary certification for all organic produce sold in Asia. Organics Unlimited farms maintain JAS Standard Operating Procedures and are inspected by resident inspectors for all stages of production, including receiving and storing of produce and processing methods used in production and shipping.
