But that doesn’t mean you should stop promoting the GROW program to your customers. October is Fair Trade Month, and it’s important to continue your ties to social responsibility and make sure the good will that you are supporting is fresh in the minds of those who visit your store(s). CONTEST: Win a Weeklong Volunteer Experience in Colima, Mexico with GROW and Project Amigo
We are ending GROW Month this year with a spectacular chance to work alongside those who your support has benefited. Starting today, one lucky winner – and their guest – may enter to win a wonderful, all expenses paid volunteer experience in Colima, Mexico to help support Project Amigo.
HOW TO ENTER:
- Visit GROW’s Facebook page and/or Jimbo’s… Naturally
- Find the contest post on the top of GROW’s Facebook page and/or Jimbo’s Facebook page and Like it
- Answer the question on the post
- Contest Ends October 31
It’s that simple. Only one (1) entry per person, per page. So you will have two (2) ways you may enter to win if you go to both Facebook pages.
All entries from both Facebook pages will be combined and one (1) winner will be chosen at random and announced a few days after October 31. Contest winner and guest, must be 18 years of age and legal residents of the fifty United States of America. If the winner does not respond within 72 hours, another winner will be chosen. This prize is non-transferable.

Your flight and accommodations, including food, travel in Mexico, and housing will be paid for on your behalf by Organics Unlimited, founding organization of GROW bananas.
The estimated costs of the volunteer experience $1,200 per person, which includes double-occupancy accommodations, all meals, all transportation within Mexico, entertainment and cultural activities, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. This cost excludes the flight costs, which will vary depending on desired volunteer week and location of winner.

For many youths in the U.S., September is the time when school kicks back into gear; some may even be preparing for midterms. But in some countries, families may not have the economic resources to send their kids off to school.
