Recipe: Banana with Honeyed Mascarpone & Caramel

Looking for a fast and easy dessert or snack that is just deliciously yummy? This recipe is the perfect combination of sweet and creamy, similar to a banana cream pie but without all the extra work. Did you ever think you would eat cheese and bananas together? With this delicious recipe, it’s a must have. Mascarpone is an Italian cheese of smooth, creamy, buttery texture that blends well with honey and caramel. Add a banana on top, and you’ll have your guests and family begging for more.


  • 8 oz. mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 6-8 ripe bananas
  • Caramel sauce

*Makes 6 to 8 portions


  1. Whip the mascarpone and the honey until everything is thoroughly mixed and fluffy.
  2. Put a dollop of the cheese on a plate.
  3. Top with a banana and generous amount of caramel sauce.
