Recipe: Morning Fruit Protein Shake
Start the morning off right with this fruit protein shake. Extra protein and natural sugars from fruit are a great way to energize your morning. Forget wasting your time with greasy eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon, throw together this enticing shake in moments!
Morning Fruit Protein Shake
Ingredients:
- 1 banana (broken into one-inch chunks)
- 1 cup plain nonfat yogurt (non-flavored)
- 2 cups fresh fruit (strawberries, mango, pineapple, blueberries, melon, peaches (when in season, no skin))
- 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 1 squeeze agave or honey
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 3-4 ice cubes
Instructions:
- Set in a blender on the lowest speed for roughly ten seconds
or until everything is integrated smoothly - Blend on the highest level for ten more seconds or until there are no ice or fruit chunks
- Pour into a glass
- Enjoy
