Recipe Peanut Butter Banana and Berry Green Smoothies

We’re going green to celebrate the first day of spring – which was yesterday. And for those who are on the go or looking for a quick, healthy smoothie we’ve got two for you today. A Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie and Berry Green Smoothie is on the menu. Both containing spinach, these smoothies are the perfect way to hide the taste and add a little extra nutrients.

Ingredients:

Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt, plain or vanilla
  • 1 banana, sliced and frozen
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
  • 2 cups fresh spinach

OR

  • 2/3 cup orange juice or orange juice blend
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 banana, sliced and frozen (we added a banana to this recipe)
  • 4 frozen strawberries
  • 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach.

Instructions:

  1. For either smoothie, blend all ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately.
