Bananas for the Holidays

Bananas – the favorite fruit of Americans – often take a back seat when it comes to the holidays. We think of foods that are red and green, lots of candied this and candied that, meats and cheeses. But what about bananas?

I found this great recipe that is fat free, gluten free, festive, and it satisfies our intrinsic desire for holiday baking. Cranberries add the red, but bananas give the flavor, and much of the nutrition.
