Recipe: Banana Chai Smoothie

Easy-to-make Banana Chai Smoothie

A favorite ingredient of smoothies, bananas not only provide a creamy base but offer superb health benefits, such as improved digestion and heart health. Light, silky and with just a hint of spice, this banana smoothie will give you a delicious-tasting, energy-boost any time. With just four simple ingredients, preparation is also a breeze.

  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of your choice)
  • Bondi Chai powdered chai tea drink mix (or similar)
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt (or Greek yogurt)

  1. In the following order place the almond milk, chai mix, yogurt and frozen banana slices into a blender
  2. Blend mixture until completely smooth

*Tip: If you do not have frozen bananas on hand, you can slice a fresh, ripe banana into small discs. Arrange the slices on a wax paper-lined plate and place in the freezer for about 1-2 hours. (A frozen banana makes a thicker smoothie).
