GROW month has officially come to an end, and we at Organics Unlimited wanted to thank you for your support! Every week we hear so many heartwarming stories of people in the banana growing regions of Mexico and Colima who are given opportunities and chances to improve their lives that they otherwise would not have received.

Stories of how your support helped include this little boy, who had never been able to hear in his life. Thanks to a hearing aid funded by GROW, he was able to hear for the first time ever.

Other children in the banana growing communities have never been able to enjoy the holidays. Thanks to GROW, these children can enjoy a holiday party complete with food, music and gifts.

Organics Unlimited is set to exhibit at the Produce Marketing Association (PMA) Fresh Summit Convention and Expo 2018 from October 18-20 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.Attendees can visit the Organics Unlimited team at booth number 4131, where Mayra Velazquez de León, company president and CEO, will be on hand to discuss new developments within the company and address emerging industry trends. Highlights include a number of topics including Organics Unlimited’s certified organic produce, eco-friendly growing practices and sustainability, along with how banana purchases help communities through the GROW by Organics Unlimited social responsibility program.

Organics Unlimited is in the final stages of its land expansion program that started in 2015 with 1,087 acres of farmland in Colima, Mexico and will end up with 1,865 acres by the end of 2018. The company continues to increase production to meet future demand.
With eco-friendly packaging, its “just in time” harvesting method and sustainable farming practices, Organics Unlimited delivers on the hottest trends in the produce industry at the moment.

As growers themselves, Organics Unlimited also supports small growers on nearby farms through sharing organic farming techniques to provide healthy, safe and consistent tropical organic produce for the marketplace.
