Following years of successful mentoring, scholarship programs, and funding to improve the quality of life for farm workers and their families, a new building for GROW students’ homework club has been erected in the state of Colima, Mexico, named Centro Educavo, CdO.   

The building, painted and decorated by the scholarship students, gives a sense of individual pride and ownership.  A new environment for inspiration and development, it is equipped with better lighting, more available table space, 5 new computers with high-speed internet and over 200 books for varying age groups involved with CdO.

Now in its third year of activity, Organics Unlimited’s GROW Fund has made it possible for GROW consumers to see the positive affects their buying decisions have made for the farm workers responsible for providing our food.  In purchasing GROW organic bananas, consumers are contributing to a world-wide effort to sustain our environment and providing a means for hard-working laborers and their families to have a better quality of life.
