Organics Unlimited, provider of organic bananas, has recently expanded its operations in Colima, Mexico with the addition of a new warehouse and administrative offices.  The new distribution and operations facilities were built to meet the growing demands for high quality organic produce throughout the United States, Asia and Canada.

The expansion project, which began last year, provides increased efficiencies in distribution of high quality organic produce.  Organics Unlimited purchased roughly 100 hectares of prime virgin land in Colima, Mexico, that was used exclusively to expand the production of organic bananas.  The land combines three parcels in the area that have never been farmed, leaving it in a natural state for early organic certification.  The farms include over 100,000 plants and a comprehensive irrigation system.

Organics Unlimited works closely with growers to oversee the growing process.  Through standardizing growing from one farm to another, they ensure the finest and most consistent quality for their customers.
